How high is american gun crime statistics?


In 2010 the latest statistics avaliable, there were 12.966, of those 8.775 were caused by firearms.
The figures show that California had the highest number of gun murders last year, 1,257, which is 69% of all murders that year and equivalent to 3.37 per 100,000 people in the state. While gun crimes is down in most states, it is up in New York, Virginia, New Jersey, Mississippi, Missouri, Arizona, Delaware, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Connecticut and serveral of the smaller states.If you look at the firearms murder rate per 100,000 people, District of Columbia comes out top, with 16 firearm murders per 100,000 Man, Woman and child. There were 99 Firearm murders in Dc in 2010.

Guns

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.

Yes, that is 80 million.

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Murder

Murder is when a human being kills another human being. there are many diffrent kinds of murderers. For example: serialkillers, hitmens and those who just panic. Murder can be done with poison or it can be done with some sort of weapon. For example a knife or a gun.

Crime-Weapons

We chose the topic Crime because our teahcer said we should.
We would like to know how many civil americans have weapons, and we would like to know how many americans are put in prison every year. We would like to know how many civil americans get shot every year.

Danish Youth

It is nice to be a young student in Denmark, because we are more priviliged, than fore example young africans. It's important for us to spent our spare time with our friends, and do fun things. Steffen likes to play soccer and play computer. Lasse likes to play soccer and watch Wrestling. Camilla likes to play soccer too and do dance practice once a week. Sarah likes to read books and watch movies. And we can do all these things all day long. That is why we are more priviliged than africans. Young people in Denmark drink a LOT of alcohol. Actually young Danish people drink much more alcohol than youngsters in the rest of the world.
They proberbly do it because they think its cool. It is not :O.

Prejudice

Many procent of all americans are overweight. Because they eat to much fastfood and don't exercise enough. Americans tend to supersize a major procent of their food, the bigger the better, they think.  This is an example of American supersized burgers. It's pretty disgusting :O.
As you can see it is not necessary to use so much bread, meat and salad.
No wonder that Americans are the fattest nation in the world.
